Is playcare inside or outside?
Both possibly. Please keep in mind that the weather is not always predictable, and our goal is to have every playcare dog outside as much as possible. We have dogs inside if: it is raining, it is extremely cold or hot, it is extremely windy (in cold conditions), or if the field is very muddy from rain the night before. Because we have the dogs outside as much as possible, dogs can get dirty. We provide rinses for $5 per rinse; please inform us if you would like your dog rinsed or bathed after playcare at the time of drop-off or call in advanced. The purpose of playcare is to allow your dogs supervised play with friends (both furry and human) and getting dirty is inevitable. *Please note: we do have kiddy pools for your dog's enjoyment during the late Spring, Summer and early Fall months.
Do we offer tours?
Yes, we offer tours Monday - Saturday during our operating hours. Although we do not require an appointment to visit our kennel, the best times that we can give you our undivided attention would be Monday - Friday between 10am - 3pm and Saturday 10am - 11am. Our early mornings and evenings are very busy, and our first priority is to cater to our boarding and playcare guests. We appologize for any inconvenience.
What are the prices to board my dog and for doggie playcare?

Is there a minimum number of days my dog must board over the holidays?
No, we do not have a minimum number of days your dog(s) must stay with us over the holidays (unlilke all of the other operators), but please keep in mind that it is our busiest time of the year. We now require a $50 non-refundable deposit for all holiday boarding that will go towards their booking.
I have to cancel my boarding reservation; how far in advanced to I need to let you know, and will I be charged?
We ask that you contact us with any changes to your dog's booking as soon as you know your plans have changed; we ask that any cancelations over holidays be given at least 7 days in advanced. The only charge is for holiday dates where a $50 non-refundable deposit was taken at time of reservation. We also understand that last minute changes may occur, and we appreciate any notice.
My dog has medications; can you administer their medications accordingly?
Yes, we can give any dog or cat their medications. If you're dog is diabetic, please let us know in advance since insulin dependant dogs must get very specific attention to insure proper food intake at the time of their insulin dosage. We charge per medication per administration. The fee will depend on the medicine administered but injectables are $2 per injection and oral medications are $1 per dosage. If your dog has specific needs that must be addressed please call and speak to a staff member with any questions or concerns. We try to accomodate all canine and feline guests as much as possible.
Are any veterinary services available at the kennel?
No. We do not provide any veterinary services at Continental even though Dr. Shaw and her husband are the owners. Please contact your family veterinarian.
Do you offer agility training?
No, we no longer offer agility training. Our training programs include: basic obedience, Canine Good Citizen training and evaluations, and Obedience Rally. Please see our training page for infromation, and you may contact us for dates and prices.
